Hey Thomas - I always love to hear from booksellers, especially ones that like my work! Where in Ireland are you? I haven't been to Ireland since I was 15 visiting family, and I think it's time to go again. Maybe while I'm in the UK promoting the next book.

On the whole, Harper Voyager has been amazing in their support of me, and I owe much of my early success to them. I think the Voyager website upgrade was one of those things that just got tied up in corporate red tape and was delayed over and over. I know how frustrating the Voyager staff found it, but it was out of their hands. I'm very much looking forward to the launch of the new site.

Thanks for commenting.

Peat - glad to see Harper Collins are FINALLY getting off their behinds and getting a proper updated website for their .co.uk site- the current one is very difficult to navigate, and try searching under your name for advance information - nothing happens! Sigh... Greatly looking forward to the deluxe edition, I'm a bookseller in Ireland and was lucky enough to get an advance copy of the first book - loved it, am looking forward to the next!
(I realise you can hardly complin about your own publisher, but here's hoping the Voyager site will have , you know information and stuff, like, oh every other publisher)
(By the way, Harper Collins staff and reps are excellent !)

You're very welcome- the book definitely deserved a positive review! Yeah, I was wondering about that, too, when I saw the mention. I have Google Alert set to email me with mentions of my name or blog, but this one didn't show up. Watch, a week from now I'll get that no longer helpful message. Ah, the wonders of technology. But I digress. That's great that you're reading and keeping up with the messages people write- I bet other readers of yours would think that as cool as I did.

And so it does! I've RSS fed (feeded? What the heck is the past tense of an internet word?) your site so now I'll know when there are updates- hopefully that'll function better than my lacking Google Alert! ;)
