Soooo awesome. I love Milla too (and I have to admit that I find The Fifth Element entirely hilarious and watch it constantly).

Congrats Pete on your good fortune. I really enjoyed the Painted Man and I also think that it'll look great on film. It's also cool that Paul seems to be more focused on the psychological effects the monsters has on the characters, it's going to be quite a suspense filled movie if they did that. I've also watched Resident Evil 1, and I'm hopeful that they'll do as great a job with your book. :)

The movie is going to get made. Generally folks don't put up their own money and then talk it up in the press if they aren't serious.

Ah man Peat, what an awesome event! I have no idea how you kept it quiet for so long, I would have been going nuts! :-) The important thing is that you're confident that Paul can (and will) do a good job; we're all behind you if you're behind them, but the books will always be our first loves - nothing will top them! :-)

:-O

IF is it made then I too now have faith. That was a pretty awesome meeting by the sounds. Talk about being star struck!

However I must vehemently oppose the Milla=Leesha. Alas that Jason is too old though...I know so many guys that have man-crushes on him and would watch him in a heart beat.

Knowing about your writing music is pretty cool I must say. It's as though you just gave us the soundtrack which I always wonder about when I read books. "What was the author listening to when they wrote this?" I am looking up Milla's music now and I like it. I've been seeking out instrumental soundtracks more myself lately. Is there a certain Howard Shore album you would recommend besides Lord of the Rings?

Very cool entry, Peat. I have more faith in the future of the book as a film now.
