SFWA Mill & Swill 2009

Went to the Science Fiction Writers of America annual NY publishing reception on Monday night at Planet Hollywood in Times Square. Like World Fantasy, this is an event I never miss, since as someone who works from home, it is a rare chance to see all my peers and coworkers in person.

I had a really great time with my partner in crime Jay Franco, and ran into some strange people, including an old co-worker from the medical publishing days, who I had no idea was a closet nerd. It was like unexpectedly running into each other on a gay cruise. I also reminded Devi Pillai from Orbit US that she will soon be out of a job once I post a few of the numerous WFC videos featuring all her drunken salty talk.
