Awwwww Yeah!

It’s been a crappy day. Our health insurance got canceled because of a glitch in billing, and the company refused to reinstate it for nine months. This pretty much ruined my day, and made it really hard to concentrate on work. On top of that, I discovered my pregnant sister was rushed to the hospital for a battery of tests after some wonky result at her OB office (she and the baby are fine, I just learned).

So I was feeling pretty shitty when I dragged myself back home at 5 to spend a couple of hours with my ladies before they went to bed. I noticed a box sitting on the bed and opened it.

Suddenly the day got a whole lot better:

That’s right people, Desert Spear advance read copies are in! Now none of you can doubt that the damn thing is done, and soon no reviewer will be able to deny that it is AWESOME.

That is all for now.

Uhh, why do we have to wait until april? Although the german version will be published four days earlier that the english one. Does anyone get the logic behind that?
I’m glad that your sister and your futur niece or nephew are okay^^

  7. That sucks about the health insurance, dude. I can certainly relate, but keep at them if you can. The squeaky wheel gets the grease.

Glad mama and baby are fine — you think you know what fear is. Then you have children.

    WANT. MUST HAVE. WILL GET.

Omg, I’m so excited I can’t breathe. SOOOOO STOKED!!!!

    Congrats, buddy. 🙂
