50 Page Fridays: Desert Spear

My US publisher, Del Rey Spectra, has a regular feature called 50 Page Fridays, where every Friday they post the first 50 pages of one of their huge catalog of novels. This week’s selection was The Desert Spear, but 50 pages wasn’t enough hardcore Jardir awesomeness, so we bumped it up to 59.
