Posted by Meg

Love D&D? Love fantasy books? Wanna hang out with eight incredible fantasy authors, including Peat, and play an epic D&D game for a couple hours?

Getting excited? So are we.

Worldbuilders is auctioning off the final seat at this year’s Author D&D game at Immortal ConFusion. The roster includes some of the best in modern fantasy: Pat Rothfuss, Diana Rowland, Jim C. Hines, Mary Robinette Kowal, Sam Sykes and Peter V. Brett. Myke Cole and Saladin Ahmed will be DMing the game.

This 5-day auction went live yesterday! So we have 4 days left to find a winner. Don’t delay!

This auction is ideal for folks in the Detroit area or those who already planning to attend ConFusion. The game will take place at the Doubletree Hotel Detroit/Dearborn located at 5801 Southfield Road, Detroit, MI 48228. Immortal ConFusion will be January 18-20, 2013 with the game taking place on the 19th from 10am-1pm. Books, dice and other supplies will be provided but feel free to bring your own. The game, like last year, will be filmed for release on Youtube. You can view our video of last year’s Author D&D Game here.

While we cannot provide travel or accommodations, the winner will score a pass to the con as well as the invite for the game. For more details check out the official auction page on ebay. All proceeds will go to Worldbuilders in support of Heifer International.

  1. Hey, Peat. This is fantastic. Were I not broke and halfway across the country, I’d be all kinds of on top of that. Good on you guys.
