On the subject of covers, next week, we will be announcing the winner to The Skull Throne Cover Contest. You can check out all of the entrants on Facebook. Peat’s hard at work judging the contest, but he’s complaining that it’s a difficult choice to make with so many amazing entries.

  2. I was hoping for a demon fest on the cover of the last book. Great artwork, but not one of my favourite characters, sorry.
“love you, Arlen Bales!” Argh…. Bite me!

  4. CHRIS, this is not the last book in the series. There is still hope for the demon fest.

Love the cover. Can’t wait to see the UK version.

  5. Of all the things that might bother people about my books, I never imagined two people expressing their love to each other would be the most complained about.

March 25 is worldwide English release. I expect Germany and Poland will be the first to release translations, but it may take a few nore months. We’ll see once I turn in the final edited manuscript and they book translators.

  6. Gorgeous! I didn’t expect Renna, but I should’ve see it coming 😉 She was next to get a cover 😉 Anyway, absolutely love it!

Do you know if the UK cover will be the same, or it will be different like with The Daylight War?

  7. Love the new cover – Renna looks so fierce! ^^
Though… if there’s one thing that could use slight improvement, it’d be her right leg – it seems to be set a little too low compared to the left one, especially at that angle.

Also, the concept itself feels a bit like deja vu – it’s actually quite similar to the UK DTW cover, isn’t it? I mean, it is much better (IMO), but I was honestly expecting something else altogether.

As for the Polish release date, I’d expect the first half to be released within 3 months of the English release. And the second half to follow 2-3 months later. At least that’s what happened with The Daylight War.

  8. I can’t wait to read The Skull Throne. I’m excited just thinking about it. I like the cover although I was expecting to see the Skull Throne and perhaps a few characters.

  9. I never imagined Renna would resemble Robert Pattinson that much! 🙂

  10. Screw Edward . . . She looks a little like Jennifer Lawerence.

  12. The Skull-Throne-Cover is amazing. I really love Larry Rostants work. He already did a fine job on the Daylight War covers and I’m really looking forward to get my hands on the US and UK editions of ST.

    Greetings from Germany.

  13. I for one am glad to see this book finally get a release date! I feel like I have been waiting forever, but you can’t rush a masterpiece. I have read, re read, and even listened to the G.A. version of your books. while I prefer to be lazy and listen. Getting the entirety of your books from reading them is much better than listening to the cropped version of your book. Can’t wait to get in to your 4th! I just hope I don’t beat it down in a day like I normally do to one of my favorite series new release.

  14. I was wondering when the release date for Audible will be, or if it is already in the works? I listened to the first three this past summer and can’t wait for this one!

  15. Yeah the “love you, Arlen Bales!” stuff was cringe worthy. Really didn’t like any part of Renna’s perspective and she almost ruined Arlen’s character for me. That aside, I LOVE these books and can’t wait to sink my teeth into Skull Throne
