This is a one-day giveaway. You must comment on the blog post to be eligible to win. The winner will be selected at random tomorrow morning and will received a signed Skull Throne from the UK. Ready for the question?

If you could steal one (and only one!) object from the Demon Cycle universe, what would it be?

    I think I would take a grimoire of the Warded Man. A general one, with wards for fighting and wards for protection – to be prepared for every situation.

  5. I would steal the lost offensive wards, tattoo them over my entire body and then distribute them to all willing to take the fight back to the Coreling’s!!

  6. I’d steal the Duke’s library, so I’d get a whole stone building that is warded by Arlen and all within the library! Ooohhhhhh all the books, grimoires, scrolls and maps!!!!!

  12. Oh warded glass – definitely – I am the clumsiest person I know (and that includes my 11yr old grand-daughter)..would be wonderful to have a glass even I couldn’t break 🙂

  13. I would definitely take Alagai Hora, so long as someone could teach me to read them! I would have gone for the spear of Kaji, but taking that didn’t go too well for Arlen.

  14. I’d steal a rock demon (presumed that it likes me and it can’t just go back to the core in the morning). I would keep it in my basement during the day and it could carry me to the disco at night (and back when I’m drunk). It also would make a good bodyguard and it could lift my car so I can change the tires… but wait! Rock demons are no objects, are they?
    I’d then go for a set of alagai hora dice. They might reveal some mysteries of the world to me and if they don’t… well, they are just so cool to have. I love them! 🙂

  18. Demon princess bones to make my own magical arsenal. I’ll fuse them with gold and silver, etch them with wards, and go into the night. I may not be a Sharum but I have some martial arts training.

  25. If I could steal one thing from the Demon Cycle universe, I’d steal the lost combat wards. That would come in handy. Ever since I read this series, I’ve been obsessed with the wards.

  26. I would go for ruins of Anoch Sun. Not just because of the wards discovered there but because any property is worth a fortune at the moment and getting hold of somewhere I can call home would be great.

  29. I may be cheating here but i would take a piece of the magic (or one of the things that generate it), just think of all the good you can do with it’s healing properties and it would make it so that wards also worked in this world.
