  1. I would be afraid to meet the “I brought your daughter home late from a date dad” demon.

  2. The mind demon. Anything that can battle you psychically is much scarier since they can find all of your fears and weaknesses.

  3. Definitely the mind demon. The rest kill you straight out. The mind demons mess with you first.

  4. Fighting a Mimic Demon would seem terrible scary.
Aside from all the different appearances that it can take that might as well come straight out of a horror story,it could look like my ex! I’d run! good bye! sorry.

  5. Flame demon. Nothing like being terrorized from a very fast, yet smallish demon that glows from the mouth. Speed and range = death from distance.

  6. Well, aside from the giant in the room, the mind demon what with all the mind-control terrors it can inflict on you, I’d say that I’d be terrified to find myself in a lake surrounded by lake demons. I’ve always had a fear of drowning and the lake demons fit the bill to the letter.

  7. The Mind Demon seems to be the most dangerous demon who appeared until now but theres still the Mother Demon. She gives birth to all the pain and fear the Demon race brings to the Humans. Every single one of them is her offspring.

  8. I would be afraid to meet the ‘You Should Never Reheat Chicken’ demon on an overcrowded tube train at rush hour. With nowhere to go the only thing stopping the ‘bomb bay’ doors from opening and subjecting the other commuters to a most unnatural disaster is the power of your mind (and strong sphincter muscles).

  9. I would hate to meet AlagaiTingKa especially if it was “that time of the month” can you imagine PMS demon style?

  10. I know of a very small species of coreling, there is only one of these creatures known to the world. This demon is extremely cute and will draw you in with sweetness and smiles.. then slowly but certainly will drive you to insanity. She will absorb your energy by keeping you awake through the night, at times she will throw herself to the floor, screeching and scratching or biting anyone/thing that approaches.. she brings joy and fear at the same time..and lastly, she steals your heart. I call her Kaede-Leesha, my love-demon =)

  11. How about Alichino from Dante’s Inferno? Not someone I’d like to cross!

  12. What do you mean which demon is the scariest? I would hate to meet all of them! That is some scary gonna eat you voodoo you have there.

  13. Mind demon for certain. The ability to make you remember things you’d rather forget and relive painful moments. Boy, that’s scary right there.
Oh yes, that and the fact he wants to scoop your brain out with his finger for a snack!

  14. A Mind Demon.
Being bipolar, the depth of terror a Mind Demon could inflict on me would be horrific.
The bowels of Hell couldn’t hold a candle to the psychic damage a Mind Demon would do.
Reading about them strikes the fear of God into me.

  15. Mind demon for sure

  16. I would be most afraid of the gym demon, a demon that has not appeared in any of the books as yet but which I believe exists. It’s always waiting in the sidelines, ready to pounce once you get off the treadmill or elliptical or when you put down weights to take an early rest. :-p

  17. Definetly a mimic demon. The fact that they can turn into anyone is pretty freaky. Could you imagine if they found out what your biggest fear was? They could make your worst possible fear come alive. That would scare me more than anything. I don’t think I could recover from that. Also a mind demon combined with a mimic demon would be the worst possible case secnario. The amount of things they could do to torment you. They could make you believe that you fear something or someone, and then they would turn into it. It gives me shivers just thinking about it.

  18. I guess all the drones are kind of…mediocre now compared to the mind/mimic combos. Would have to agree with everyone else.

  19. Totally a Wind Demon. I see lots of reposes for the big bad Mind Demons and Mimic’s, but those Windies will snatch you right off the ground. Death from above. I have to imagine that despite having some good wards, i’d still be keeping an eye on the sky. The wards are drawn on the ground afterall…

  20. The mind demon has true power. Yes, a mimic is capable, but the minds… Not only can they manifest your worst fears, they can make you commit acts forcing your own fears and terrors upon yourself. I’m a parent. My son is almost a year. A mind could and would use him against me. That’s all there is to it.

  21. From memory we haven’t been told much about Aligai’Ka, but by my reckoning a demon that is most likely thousands of years old, that has spawned the rest of demon kind must be a serious badass! Or the hungover brother demon, I’ve had several encounters with that, it’s not a pretty sight.
