Friday Faceoff Covers: Daylight War

Posted by Karen

Hey everyone! Our friends over at Books By Proxy chose The Daylight War for last week’s Friday Faceoff.

This segment of the blog compares-

cover book cover against cover, and publisher against publisher, to find the best artwork in our literary universe”

They say don’t judge a book by its cover, but you can still appreciate the hard work that goes into them. Below you can see the UK cover in blue and the US in red. Both were done by the brilliant Larry Rostant and are absolutely gorgeous.

Which cover did it better? Take your pick and head over to to Books By Proxy to see if they agree! To quote Buzzfeed, ‘The Answer May Surprise You’. You can also check out what Peat has to say on the subject in his own series of blog posts, Evolution of a Cover.

In other news, there are a bunch of limited-time deals for The Demon Cycle going on right now. The Holiday Kindle Sale is still up, meaning you can get The Painted Man for £.99, The Desert Spear for £1.49, and The Daylight War for £1.99. Or, if you’d prefer listening to the story, Audible will have a Daily Deal for The Painted man TOMORROW.
