I bought a German copy of Bryan's Gold ("der große Bazaar") today. Didn't have a chance to glimpse in, yet. Gonna do that right now, lying in my bed, fallin asleep… into the dreams of Thesa and a young handsome messanger… who looks exactly like my boyfriend…

It is translated, "The Name of the Wind" in english and it is written by Patrick Rothfuss. NotW and its sequel, "The Wise Man's Fear" are my two favorite novels, hands down. I would also highly recommend "The Lies of Locke Lamora" and its sequel, "Red Seas Under Red Skies". These two books are by Scott Lynch and will hopefully hold you over until the highly anticipated Daylight War comes out! I can not say whether or not all these books have been translated into the varied native languages of the members of this forum, but there is no harm in checking. I would start with Name of the Wind though, that series is amazing.
Oh yeah, the Lies of Locke Lamora and Red Seas… are amazing. Laugh out loud funny as well as being fab fantasy.
Got The Name of the Wind in my 'to read' pile but as people keep recommending it to me I guess I should read it!!
