Hey everyone! Part one of The Core made its debut in Germany as Das Leuchten der Magie on December 11. In that time, it hovered around #4 on the prestigious German Der Spiegel bestseller list for a week, then climbed up to #2! That’s the highest any of Peat’s books has ever been!
At the time this post is going up, it’s still there, which is just… wow.
The German editions of The Desert Spear (Das Flustern der Nacht), Daylight War (Die Flammen der Dämmerung), and Skull Throne (Thron der Finsterni) have also made appearances on Der Spiegel bestseller list and we couldn’t be happier to continue the trend!
We’re so grateful to Peat’s translator and would like to give a shout out to all of Peat’s German fans for making this happen. Thank you.

Hey everyone! We recently re-found a review that we never put up here from the lovely folks at Fantasy Literature.
The tagline for the review is ‘The Warded Man: Eagerly Awaiting The Sequel’, so it was already off to a great start!
“The plot is consistently compelling through nearly all of the book, with good pacing and many tense moments… The ending has both a sense of resolution and a cliffhanger”

Hey everyone! With all the hustle and bustle of the holidays, we almost forgot to announce that the audiobook from Recorded Books is officially available for purchase.
What’s Recorded Books? They’re the largest independent publisher of unabridged audiobooks.
What does that mean? They tell the story like it is– no bells, no whistles, just the story as it’s written. That means The Demon Cycle in its purest form, narrated by the amazing and talented Broadway actor Pete Bradbury.
Peat made a whole post about how the Recorded Book audiobooks Came To Be. It’s a fascinating read that, spoiler alert, nearly had Peat narrating them himself. You can read about it here.

Hey everyone! Two friends, book-reviewers, and Demon Cycle fans met Peat while he was on his UK tour in Milton Keynes.
Turns out, they’re they duo that run the website Two Bald Mages:
