Hey everyone! Today is the last day to get in on Badali Jewelry’s ‘Christmas In July’ Sale.

There are only a few months left until the release of The Core, meaning now is the perfect time to get your hands on some protective merch.

Right now Impact Ward Rings (both enameled and not) and Mind Demon Ward necklaces are on sale at their website!

I’m partial to the pendants myself (I have the unsight one) and the rings are just gorgeous. For this sale, Badali is cutting prices on all lines, including all the badass Demon Cycle jewelry. If I were you, I’d head over and check it out!

Core ARC Contest: Three Terrific Entries!

Posted by Karen

Hey everyone! While the ARC Contest should technically be closed for submissions, there are some people who didn’t quite finish their entries. Therefore, by the grace of Peat, the deadline has been extended through Sunday. That means TONIGHT.

If you’d like to enter the contest, get your Dioramas in by TONIGHT.

Got it? Good.

In other news, we’ve rounded up our next batch of entries for the Core ARC Contest. We’re super excited about the quality and creativity of dioramas we’ve gotten so far. Here’s a few to check out!

Kristina Bunnell sent in this one entitled “Chamber of shadows”:

KristinaBunnell

I love the shadows on the wall in contrast to the glow on those Hora dice.

Our next one was sent in by Cátia Costa

My digital diorama is when Leesha is running from home at night. Loved this scene and what we learned about the knowledge that Bruna has.

This is awesome. My favorite part is how dynamic the action is. I keep expecting Leesha to take another step while I’m looking at her. If you’d like to see the larger version of this picture, just click on it to open it in a new tab.

James McStravick showed his artistic skills with this creative take on the contest:

Very nice, James! I’m really digging the layout you created.

We’ve got all the entries compiled in a Facebook album. To see all the awesome stuff other people have done, head on over and take a look!

Core ARC Contest: Last Day To Enter!

Posted by Karen

Hey everyone! I’m taking a break from showing off submissions to remind you that this is the LAST DAY to send in your entries for the Core ARC Contest. We’ll be accepting them through the night, until the corelings disperse at dawn, but this is it! Remember, you can enter more than once and you MUST send your entries to contest@www.petervbrett.com for them to count.

If you need a refresher of the rules, head on over to Peat’s official post about the Core ARC Contest.

We’re so excited to give away some ARCs of The Core. These are just a few of the ones Peat has ready to be sent out:

I’m not promising there will be more than five winners… but there’s a pretty good chance. And, as always, we usually give out smaller prizes to runners-up that we think did a particularly awesome job.

Summary: Fans of tabletop roleplaying games are no strangers to the written word. Volumes upon volumes of rule systems, area descriptions, character backgrounds, backstories, world histories, magics and physics, and the like are created from scratch for every campaign, across every genre of tabletop gaming. But what happens when playing the game is not enough.

We’ll be updating Peat’s events as they’re confirmed! To keep up with where Peat will be and when, you can always head over to the Appearances page.

Core ARC Contest: Entries Galore!

Posted by Karen

Hey everyone! There are just two days left to send in your submissions for the Core ARC Contest. If you’re the type to leave things until the last minute (like yours truly), you’d better get cracking!

Motivated now? Yes? Good. Moving on! We’ve got a couple entries today that I’m stroked to show off!

This one was sent in all the way from across the pond by Volker Land AKA Keno:

Keno

I hope you enjoy my diorama featuring papermade figures of Arlen, Jardir and a demon. Greetings from Germany.

These are awesome. Is it wrong of me to find that demon the perfect blend of scary and adorable? I just love those sharp teeth and how it seems to glow from within.

These particularly interesting entry was sent in by Logan Porter

LoganPorter

Chewy, Antman, Armstrong, Merida and Thor done got into the couzi……wind and field demons ahead!!!

If the last entry’s demon was frightening/cute, this one… is just plain frightening. Imagine having all those ‘field demons’ charging at you in full force. Gives me the shivers.

This submission comes to us from Sarah Lockwood AKA the Critiquing Chemist!

SarahLockwood

Here’s the Critiquing Chemist’s entry into the ARC contest. Arlen’s nightly dance with the infamous one armed rock demon prior to his desert transformation. You’ll have to use your imagination regarding the lighting, as we are claiming it is actually a very bright and illuminating full moon.

Thanks again! We had a great time with this project as I had help from my Mom, Dad, and Grandma who all to scoured the driveway for potential rocks that would work.

How fantastic is this?? The rock demon is incredible, just so frikken incredible. A family effort that definitely shines through. I also love the way the ward circle is portrayed here. Super creative, Sarah!

Please remember to send your entries to contest@www.petervbrett.com by Friday, July 28, 2017. You’re can post elsewhere as well, but only entries sent to the email address will be counted towards the prizes. If you need a refresher of the rules, head on over to Peat’s official post about the Core ARC Contest.
