Hey everyone! We love artwork of The Demon Cycle. From Lauren Cannon‘s original pieces to Larry Rostant‘s incredible book covers to fanart, it helps Peat’s world come alive. That’s why, for today’s post, we’d like to give a special shoutout to Dominik Broniek.
Dominik Broniek is the mind behind the official concept art and illustrations in Peat’s Polish translations. Their style is edgy and raw and each picture is absolutely incredible. Here are just a few…
First up is the Rock demon One Arm. Even with only one arm, he’s terrifying:

Dominik’s Inevera is both beautiful and dangerous. Truthfully? I’d rather take my chances with One Arm than piss her off:

In our Scariest Demon Giveaway, more people listed the Mind Demon than any other. A fan even got Dominik’s illustration as a tattoo!

This drawing is one of Peat’s favorites! Ashia definitely kicks ass:

These are just a few tastes of the incredible illustrations made available by Dominik and our friends at Fabryka Publishing. To see then rest, you’ll have to get the books yourselves.
The Polish edition of Warded Man was broken into two parts. You can get them here and here!

Hey everyone! Peat did a bunch of interviews on his German tour. We’ll be putting them up in the next couple weeks, so look out for them! Some have English translations, others don’t (I’ll specify).
The first one was with Jörn Käsebier for his blog Der Fantasy Weblog.

This interview is in German. It’s got a lot of great info and a few slipped teasers of what might be to come… head over to Jörn’s blog to check it out.

Hey everyone! We’ve got something cool planned for today, but first things first. Let’s go ahead and take care of the You As A Character Warded Wednesday.
The winning entry is:
I think I would like to walk in the shoes of Leesha’s mentor Bruna. She managed to save so many lives while she was alive, almost single handedly keeping Cutters Hollow going. Her work continues after her passing which is amazing, having empowered Leesha to fulfil her destiny, it’s a hell of a legacy to leave behind. Plus she kicks ass! Tiny wee doddery old lady and she has every single person doing exactly as she wishes, really impressive and very cool. -Scott
Congratulations, Scott! We’ll be in touch soon.
Moving right along. We’ve got something extra cool planned for this week. Today and tomorrow we’ll be giving away copies of Myke Cole’s just-released book, JAVELIN RAIN:

We’re giving away books to FIVE lucky individuals. To snag one, just comment on this post. Winners will be chosen by April 1st.
We’ll give away a few more tomorrow too. Yes, you can comment on both posts to increase your chances of winning.
Remember, we can only pick your comment if you respond to our post on the blog. No Twitter or Facebook replies will be counted.

Hey everyone! Second stop on Peat’s German tour landed him in Luneburg. The fantastic staff at Lunebuch store was there to meet and greet.
Protip- people who work in bookstores are usually awesome:

Wining and dining before the signing. Check out Peat at his duck-face dinner:

Another great turnout for the event! These fans proved that enthusiasm can overcome language barriers.

And what signing of Peat’s is complete without photos with fans? Pictures were taken in a reader’s natural habitat. Just look at all those beautiful books!

If awesome people and good books weren’t enough to make Peat’s trip a success, Lunebuch was kind enough to provide delicious champagne and chocolate. Now THAT’S how you treat an author.

Thanks so much to everyone who showed up to the signing! Once again, it’s thanks to the fans that Peat was able to come out. Also, a huge shoutout to Lunebuch for hosting this. It was an amazing night and Peat had a great time.
You can get the German translation of Desert Spear (Das Flustern der Nacht) right here!
