Fanart: Warded Hand

Posted by Karen

Hey everyone! Ahh, it feels always so good posting Demon Cycle fanart. Every time I see a new one, it makes me smile. On that note, one of Peat’s Polish fans recently sent in a piece of art with an unusual canvas… Human skin.

Before you call the cops, check it out!

This is so awesome. I remember I used to doodle on myself during school, but it was nothing like this! Agata’s Twilight Dancer is gorgeous and the wards look so clean and neat. So glad she snapped a picture before washing her hands.

Thanks so much to Agata for sending this in! It really made our day.

If you haven’t read Peat’s novella The Messenger’s Legacy yet, you definitely should. Set just before The Skull Throne, it’s an exciting and action-packed adventure that ties in seamlessly with events of The Demon Cycle. You can order The Messenger’s Legacy from Waterstones or Amazon.

Warded Wednesday Giveaway: New Demons!

Posted by Karen

Hey everyone! Peat has a bunch of demons in his books. From Snow to Sand and everything in between.

For this giveaway, we’re encouraging all of you to play God and answer this question:

If you could add a new demon to The Demon Cycle, what would it be?

Winners will be chosen randomly, but try to be creative. This can be as scary/original/funny/cute/weird/etc. as you’d like! If you want to see what demons already exist, check out Peat’s Facebook grimoire. It contains the wards you can used against each type of coreling.

The Return Of Warded Wednesdays!

Posted by Karen

Hey everyone! We just did an inventory of Peat’s bookshelves (facilitated by yours truly) and we found a bunch of books/swag to give away.

That means Warded Wednesdays are officially back in action!

What are Warded Wednesdays?

Warded Wednesdays are our weekly giveaways. That means every week, barring some exceptions, we’ll be holding a giveaway/mini-contest for the chance to win awesome prizes. Entering will be simple, usually just a quick comment or email.

Specific rules will change depending on the contest, but one stays the same:

To be eligible to win, you MUST reply to the post on the blog. Not Twitter, not Facebook, the blog.

Tomorrow’s prize will be a signed copy of The Skull Throne! Check back for details on how to snag it!

The Warded Man: Ancrathian Review!

Posted by Karen

Hey everyone! Several years ago Ancrathian reviewed The Painted Man with a promise of an updated review once later installments were out. Recently, they got in touch with us to deliver!

Ancrathian’s review is in-depth and thoughtful and frikken hilarious. Seriously. The writing’s voice is both passionate and crass in the best possible way. I had a great time reading it and couldn’t be happier to show it off here.

This 2am page-turner will take you on a Final Destination roller coaster, and as you plummet into the plot you’ll find yourself forced to take impossible sides, question your own core morals and experience the horrors of a demon horde. -Ancrathian

Thanks so much to Ancrathian for sending in this review! It was definitely worth the wait.

You can get your copy of The Warded Man right now!
