Hey everyone! We recently got a new review from a long-time blogger across the pond. Adam has been following The Demon Cycle series from 2013 and has put out glowing reviews of The Painted Man and The Desert Spear.
Last week Adam added a review of The Daylight War to his repertoire:

This is a spoiler-free review, so proceed freely! Adam has also reviewed books from authors like Patrick Rothfuss, Terry Pratchett, and George. R. R. Martin, so you know he’s got good taste.
Check out the review and maybe you’ll find something for your to-read pile on the way.

Hey everyone! In honor of The Skull Throne and Peat’s birthday, HarperVoyager UK has dubbed February 8th Demon Cycle Day. If you want an easy way to get free books, here’s how it’s going down:
“Demon Cycle Day” will take place on 8th February, on which date fans will be given two copies of Brett’s first book The Painted Man “to give to their friends” if they can tell the Voyager team “why they love Peter V Brett so much”, using the hashtag #DemonCycleDay.

You can find a bunch more info about the giveaway, but that’s the simple version. Just fill out a quick survey to say why you love Peat’s books, use the tag #DemonCycleDay on Twitter, and have fun with it! The more noise you make, the more likely you’ll get chosen as a winner.
This is an amazing giveaway and we’re so grateful to HarperVoyager for making it happen. Please note that this is limited to fans in the UK only.
Even if you’re not eligible for this contest, tomorrow is going to be super exciting! Peat’s birthday is always a cause for celebration, so feel free to send a quick picture or piece of fanart or best wishes his way.

Hey everyone! Nemira Publishing is awesome. In addition to putting out the Romanian translations of Peat’s books, they also give them some seriously badass covers:

Nemira released the Romanian translation of The Desert Spear in September of 2015, less than a year after they translated The Warded Man and we couldn’t be happier with the reception. So when we were contacted by Alexandra for an interview to put on the official Nemira blog, we jumped at the chance!
This is by far one of the most pleasant interview experiences I’ve had to facilitate. If you’ve got questions about The Demon Cycle or about Peat himself, go ahead and check it out.

Hey everyone! The results for the Selfie Contest are in! For this contest, Peat asked people to send in pictures of themselves with one of his books. I expected a dozen entries. Maybe two dozen at most.
We got 237.
That’s absolutely incredible. So incredible that we decided to up the number of winners. Instead of five, we used a random number generator to pick seven winners. Here they are!
Zach displaying his collection (plus a cameo from Evangelion).

Tim and a digitally dangerous Inevera.

Rodney posing with Peat!

Nyaxxy getting some solid advice on how to be the next Deliverer.

Jordan showing how intense it is to read The Skull Throne.

María with both physical and digital copies of Peat’s books.

Larisa with her set all lined up for us to see.

An ENORMOUS thank you to everyone who entered! We had a blast looking over all the submissions, and trust me, we saw every single one. For anyone who didn’t get chosen, don’t worry! We have contests pretty often, so there will definitely be another chance.
Maybe next time we’ll have some new prizes to give away…
