Yesterday we posted some excellent Superfan pics from Peat’s travels in Poland, but what else has he been up to at Polcon?

If you have been keeping up with Peat’s Twitter, then you will already be aware that Peat is having a grand old time in Poland as the author guest of honor at Pol Con. He just sent me a bunch of new pictures from his weekend.
I am going to start with the really exciting fandom that Peat has been encountering in Poland …

A packed room of 150 fans including Peat’s parents!

Literally mobbed for an impromptu signing

Superfans created Brett’s Army shirts complete with wards!

A huge thanks to all the fans at Pol Con. You guys are clearly awesome! More pictures to come this week, so check back soon!

Peat’s been to London, Berlin … where is he now? Yesterday, at some ungodly hour of the morning, he tweeted:
Woke up not sure what country I was in. Turns out: Poland. If you are in Wroclaw, come see me at PolCon at 5pm. If in US, go back to bed.
And come see him they did! Over the past few months, I have been getting messages, emails and comments from Polish fans about how psyched they were to meet Peat, and I think this picture from a signing at Pol Con proves that level of excitement!

Can’t find Peat? Neither can we! But I promise, he is in there somewhere amongst all the Polish fans trying to get an autograph or handshake.
Peat will be at Pol Con all weekend. If you are in Poland, make sure to say hi! If not, we will have more updates on Peat’s travels on Monday morning. Until then, check Peat’s Twitter and Facebook page for realtime updates.

So, by now, you’ve probably seen some of the beautiful warded necklaces and embroidery that @rachelr1977 has been creating for this year’s Gen Con. We’ve already made a couple blog posts on her incredible creations, but a few days ago, she posted the full effect! Man, I wish I was going to Gen Con to see this kick ass costume in real life. Check it out.

Trying out some eye warding

The full costume!
I absolutely love the level of detail that went into this beautiful cosplay. Amazing job, Rachel!
Peat isn’t going to be at Gen Con, but he will be the author guest of honor at this year’s Pol Con from August 23-26 in Wroclaw, Poland.

After a highly successful reading and signing in London, Peat showed up at the Otherland Bookshop in Berlin where he met with German fans from all over.

Some folks traveled farther than others to the event. Kathrin (left) and her boyfriend Andre rented a car and drove 5 hours to see Peat and had to hop right back in the car to drive back for work at 6:30am the next morning! Bianca (right) also drove 4-5 hours to Berlin.
Now that’s dedication! It’s awesome to see fans go to such lengths for something they are passionate about.
Peat’s still in Germany, but not for long! Next stop is Pol Con in Wroklaw, Poland! Check out his Twitter or Facebook page for real time updates on his travels.
