Hey everyone! We’ve now entered the month of March! To start it off, let’s look at a type of fanwork I haven’t seen before: a personalized ward bag with an epic crossover!
Korvain33 on Twitter combined “Two of the best sets of symbols” for their own personal bag of holding, a mix of the Demon Cycle Wards on one side and symbols form Brandon Sanderson’s Mistborn series on the other side!
Awesome job! I have some firsthand experience drawing on canvas bags, and it’s not easy. But you managed to get in those tricky details, and it looks great! I hope your bag serves you well, through all the worlds it represents!

Hey everyone! Today feels like a day we could all use a splash of color, and I have just the fanart to provide it! Check out this gorgeous ward circle by by Jesbabes on Instagram!
This is fantastic, Jesika! The wards are inked perfectly, and those splashes of blue make it pop right off the page! I love how it’s multiple shades of blue withing the paint splatter, it gives it such depth. Thanks so much for sharing!

Hey everyone! We get to see a lot of great fanart come up on the blog, and lots of great tattoos are included in that! Todays fanart is no exception, but one thing that I especially like about it is the placement. Check out this ward circle tattoo sent in by Rab Scobbie!
Rab had this circle put on his knee, something that I like because it makes such an effective place for fighting demons! Arlen tattooed his whole body, but places like his hands, elbows, and his knees are especially important, because they’re what makes the most contact during a fight. So in addition to how awesome this circle looks with the cool outline of the center ward, it’s also super practical! Thanks so much for sending this in, Rab!

Hey everyone! Today is the big day, we’re announcing the winners of the Visual journal contest!
All of you sent in wonderful entries, and Peat’s daughter Cassandra had her work cut out for her as the contest’s judge! She was so impressed with everyone that we ended up pulling out all the stops. After calling in some favors and raiding our stock, we found a total of 9 Subterranean Press Barrens to give out as prizes. That means we’re able to have 9 ‘grand prize’ entries. Unfortunately we weren’t able to obtain any more copies than that. However all the runners up will be getting a copy of both The Great Bazaar and Brayan’s Gold and Messenger’s Legacy for their collections!
Without further ado, here are our winners (in no particular order):

Hey everyone! Do any of you remember the in-progress tattoo we saw from Viv_Voyeur? Well she’s put out another update. It’s looking great, and Arlens been joined by his lovely wife Renna!
The progress looks excellent, Viv! I love the sway of Renna’s torso and that splash of blue for her bodice! I look forward to seeing the next steps, and the final product!
