Not long after, Kristi put up a glowing review:

Barren is a wonderfully written book who’s story reminds us of one thing: never, ever be ashamed of who you are.

You can read the entire review here!

Hey everyone! We just got an update for Subterranean Press’ edition of Barren that’s coming out in January 2019 and it is SUPER exciting.

You remember the cover, right? Lauren K. Cannon provided this amazing original of Selia Barren:

Now, we’ve also got a sneak-peak of the illustrations inside! Dominik Broniek has been doing gorgeous illustrations for the Polish translation of Peat’s books. Now he’s lending his artistic genius to my favorite novella. Here are just a few samples of what’s to come:

I am in love.

Fanart: Temporary Hand Wards

Posted by Karen

Hey everyone! New fanart alert!

Calavios on Twitter showed off their kid’s ward practice:

We’re ready to face our daily demons. This tattoo was made by my boy. It’s you inspiring the new generations.

This is so lovely, particularly for someone so young! Do we perhaps have an expert warder in the making?
