The Best Science Fiction and Fantasy Books of 2008

The Painted Man has had some hard days. In addition to having a Creator who is abominably slow at writing and painstakingly anal about revisions, he’s lived a life plauged with demons, both inside and out. He’s given up a lot in his never-ending battle against the corelings, so it’s nice sometimes when the universe gives something back.

It’s been a good week for our tattooed friend. In addition to selling out on Amazon and emptying the publisher’s warehouse to the point where they may have to go back on press, the PM’s first adventure has been named # 7 in Amazon UK’s list of the Best Science Fiction and Fantasy Books of 2008.

That’s gotta make a disfigured outcast feel good.

It sure makes me feel great.
