Balticon 2012

Posted by Meg

Even though Peat didn’t “officially” go to Balticon 46, he was still there, chatting with fans, attending panels and participating in live podcasts. If you weren’t able to make this awesome con, here is the recap.

The con boasted awesome writers such as Chris Evans, Myke Cole, T.C. McCarthy, Robert E. Waters and Michael J. Sullivan (who did his own Balticon recap). There also lots of equally awesome non-writer people there like musician John Anealio and Peat’s agent Joshua Bilmes. Myke tested out a fan made board game based on his book Control Point.

Peat, Myke and John all participated in a recording of Mur Laffterty’s podcast I Should Be Writing. Sadly, the recording was lost, so all we have to show you are these photographs of the recording. I promise that it was the most engaging, hilarious and intelligent podcast recording of Peat’s career.

Still want to hear Peat on I Should Be Writing? You’re in luck! Peat was on the podcast earlier this year. Listen to Peter V. Brett Interview/Unrequited Love and Convention Questions Answer/Peter Brett Interview Pt. 2.

You can also check out Fantasy Faction’s Review of the con here.
