Max’s Backflip

Still reeling from the sudden death of Max Powers. It’s funny how you make all sorts of subtle changes in your life to accommodate your pets without even noticing you’re doing it until they’re gone. Suddenly I don’t have to check under the bed every time I leave the house to be sure I’m not locking MP in the library, and I don’t have his “feed me” serenades at 5am and pm every day.

Anyway, as a tribute to MP, here’s my favorite mini-video of him. The backflip at the end is awesome:

  1. I really liked it when he’d chase the laser pointer up the wall. I think he might have gotten 4-5 feet of air once.

  2. That back-flip is pretty epic 😀

P.S. I’ve looked back at the reviews on Amazon for Painted Man a few times (I tend to do this with books I like) and suddenly the review count has shot up from 15 to 26…congratulations!

  3. I have been checking my Amazon rank like a crackhead checking for rock. I was actually up to #612 in books for a minute today! (That’s down from 104,308 two weeks ago.) It was shocking to see all those new reviews pop up out of nowhere.
