Overseas Messenger

I was sad. Everyone was getting a UK copy of The Desert Spear but me. I asked my editor why, and she looked into it and saw that they had accidentally been send by mule train over the Bering Strait. Quick as you please, she had two copies send DHL:

I can’t tell you how happy I am. Voyager has been the first to release both books, and has really set the tone design-wise for the books by commissioning the fantastic Larry Rostant covers and putting together a fabulous jacket and overall design. This version even has my character avatars, which makes it pure perfection.

Look how handsome the boys look together:

In other news, I just read the best review ever.

  1. And they look doubly as handsome when you wedge a copy of TGB betwixt the two! A papery pile of Brett-flavoured happiness!

  4. They realy do look good toghether.

To bad it is almost impossible to get a hardcover copy of “The Painted Man” from Harper Collins anymore. At least not for a reasonable price that won’t cause my wife to turn into some kind of rock demon once she finds the bill. 🙁

  5. Yeah, there are only about 8500 copies of that original Painted Man hardcover in existence, including the 2nd printing. It was the worldwide first edition, as well, which adds to the collectabilty. Even I only have a few copies left. I may give a couple out as prizes someday, but it would need to be for something very special. If you see one cheap, my advice it to grab it quick.
