Let Me Fix Your Warded Man

Posted by Peat

I’ve really been enjoying all the wonderful sad faces coming into the contest email inbox. Everyone who sent in a sad face picture will be receiving a cover in the mail if they haven’t already!

Here are some new ones:

Elizabeth’s ARC paperback is even uglier than the original hardcover! Extra-sad face.

But I know there are more of you out there! Nice people with bad Warded Man covers in need of refurbishing. Please, let me fix your cover.

Send me a picture of you making a sad face with your Warded Man with the old cover, and I will send you a brand new, beautiful Larry Rostant jacket.

Send all photos to contest@www.petervbrett.com while supplies last.

  1. I think that a “brick” of clay could work. it would be similar to the concepts you are using in the other terms of demon grouping. you use “storm” to describe the sand demons because (and i am only hypothesizing) a sand storm is a destructive force, as is a snow blizzard, a water wave, a blazing fire, etc. being hit with “a brick” of clay demons could be destructive (unless you are properly warded to destroy them).

love the books. i listen to them on audio when in the greenhouse or driving truck down across the country.

    Thank you,

    Christopher

  4. I would call them a clatter both for the alliteration and I imagine they would make quite a din if they moved in a pack.

Either that or a cluster of clay demons to bring up imagery of their tightly packed muscly form. I know that word has already been suggested but I think its a good one.
