  2. It would have to be a ward of unsight could have some fun with that and stay safe

  3. I would have a lectric Ward, so I could provide free energy to those in the world that don’t have it, oh and charge my phone on a night out.

Unless I was in the world and time of the Demon cycle, then I would have a propulsion Ward so anything I pick up could be used as a projectile weapon.

Also just finished reading my embossed and signed copy of the skull throne that came from over in the USA. It was awesome, I’m already part of my way back through it.

  4. I’d probably choose a heat ward. It seems since becoming a mum about a year ago, I am now constantly cold (my friends all actually call it mum syndrome) so the ability to heat things up a bit (including reheating cups of tepid tea due to being neglected whilst I chase a toddler) would be useful for me definitely.

  5. For me it would be a “Happiness Ward” so I can slap the sh*t out of my girlfriend when she gets angry with me… Wait, that sounds wrong…

  6. A memory ward is what I need, for remembering or to forget. Could also work against corelings by making them forget that they’ve seen me before having time to attack me.

  7. If it’s on my hand then that’s a hard choice between a few but in the end it would have to be a cutting ward.. Instant pen knife..

  8. Mine would have to be mending ward so I could mend every demon that I met or every person who was hurt by one. Also see you on thurday Pete.

  9. It would probably have to be a heat ward – I could heat food, drinks, my house! Very useful indeed ????

  10. I’d have to go with Unsight.

  11. A King Midas ward!!!! Ok probably not. A ward that would diffuse hostility.

  12. In the world of Ala and if the rules could be changed so anything goes? A prophecy ward. If the rules could not be changed? A healing ward.

If wards worked in the real word? Definitely a healing ward. A lot of loved ones going through struggles right now that a healing ward, a little magic, and someone willing to be a bit exhausted could fix.

  13. I’ve always wanted a tattoo of the ward circle with your sketch of a mind demon in the center.

  14. The Book Collector Ward … despite the fact that my wife insists I have that one already … in spades! #ARCme

  16. I’ve actually thought about this for a while now as I would really like one doing for real. If I was to put one on my palm it would have to be The Great Ward.

  17. an impact ward for me

  18. I Lightening Ward. It would be very cool to flick a finger and have lightening shoot forth!!!

  19. When I’m out fighting demons starkers, I’ve always thought it would be nice to mix things up a little.

Some kind of ward that produces 1960’s “Pow!” and “Blam!” Batman sound effect bubbles as I’m sending them back to the core, along with the classic instrumental pow! effect.

Doesn’t matter if it’s the Clown Prince or a Demon Prince, they’re all going down fabulously

  20. I think I would like a slow time ward, when activated
time would slow for everyone else demons and humans alike but remain the same for me temporarily, useful for dodging weapons matrix style and getting jobs done around the house !

  21. If I could have any ward, I’d have a skittle ward – making many a coloured skittle spring forth from the faintest of touches – who doesn’t like skittles? Actually, the skittle guy didn’t have such a great time… Perhaps not.
So it would have to be a rewind ward. Great for dodging arrows, spears, demon fire, talons, awkward date invitations and burning toast!

  22. A Mind Ward. No particular reason, would take a ‘Doh!’ moment just that much more ironic.

  24. its easy to injure or kill.a blade or a gun will do that.obvously warded in this story’s scenario.

HEALING-CURE WARD is an obvious choice. just think of the time and skill needed to heal a wound (if its even healable in the first place), to counter poision’s effects or remove cancer. not as exciting but would make more people happy if you think about it.

  27. I would have the wards that allowed you to see auras (arranged on such a way that when I put my hand near my eyes I can see how people are actually feeling so I wouldn’t have to look all the time).

Posted by Adella, on April 8th, 2015 at 12:53 pm
  28. Definitely the pressure ward. 1. Coz it’s pretty and would go nicely on my hand and 2. It’d be awesome to be able to crush a rock/wood demon’s skull with my own hands!!

Posted by Ruth, on April 8th, 2015 at 6:32 pm
  29. I would pick a ward that would allow me to jump into different books and interact with the characters, either that or a ward that allowed me to extract items from books (like Jim c. Hines’ Libromancer series)

Posted by sam baskin, on April 8th, 2015 at 9:50 pm
  30. My ward would allow me to grab items and weapons from books, such as pulling out a magic wand or talking skull

Posted by sam baskin, on April 8th, 2015 at 11:08 pm
  31. It would have to be a confusion ward. That way when I’m busy reading people won’t be bothering me 😉

Posted by Sam, on April 9th, 2015 at 8:33 am
  32. I would have a mind protection ward on my hand. So that I would be able touch the head of a person who I believe is being controlled by a mind demon and stop them before someone gets hurt. 🙂

  33. An energy ward, so that I can use other things energy to power myself so that I can keep reading longer!
