Barren ARC Contest: Rock Demon & Rainbows

Hey everyone! The Barren Advanced Read Copy Contest is officially over, and wow was it a great one. Over the next few days, we’re going to be showing off all the entries, so if you haven’t seen yours yet, don’t worry!
Today we’ve got one ferocious rock demon by Lindsay:
I am very new to the series but I am loving the world I am getting more and more lost in. Here is my rendition of the Rock Demon or at least how I imagined it would look.
As soon as I saw this, I knew exactly what it was. I love the cragginess of the demon’s head and horns. Those teeth are super sharp– I hope whoever meets this one has checked their wards!
Next up is a beautiful warded globe, complete with rainbow lights sent in by Amberly Smith:
There is a common saying among my people: Make it Gay, You Cowards. Fantasy needs more gay characters, so I was beyond excited to hear that Selia would be getting her own story with Barren. As soon as I found out, I knew I needed to find a way to add some pride to my fan art to celebrate.
I Dremel-engraved a glass globe with carefully chosen wards, and lighted it with a strand of rainbow lights.
Amberly also sent in a short video, gifed here, that shows it off from every angle!

This is gorgeous and very appropriate for Barren!! Also for pride month <3 Basically, it’s awesome on all fronts!
