Hey everyone! On Monday, Peat made a star appearance on episode 33 of The Dad Zone Podcast.
We talk about his books, his dadding techniques, Andrew gets drunk and calls him by the wrong name. Simon asks about American leave entitlements.
The Dad Zone Podcast is a comedy advice podcast by two dads who know all there is to know about dadding. They answer questions and give advice on all things dad-related. They’re also just really cool dudes to chat with. In this episode, Peat gives the inside scoop on raising kids the nerdy way.
If you enjoyed his article about Raising A Dragonslayer via Tor.com, or if you just want to listen to some A+ advice/comedy podcasting, this is definitely an episode to check out.
Also, feel free to check out this, and more interviews on The Dad Zone Podcast on their official website.

Hey everyone! A little while ago we got one of my favorite types of fanart– warded sweets. This time, it was a warded cake, complete with blue frosting and black frosting wards. Yum!
No wonder Zann_nolan wasn’t taking any chances. If I was a demon, I’d gobble it up too!
Because the weekend isn’t the same without cake… And what better protection from demons than to ward it!
Weekend cake? I couldn’t agree more.

Hey everyone! Since The Core came out, we’ve been getting a bunch of reviews. Today we’re highlighting one from our friend Eon over at Booksprens.
Recently, Eon put up a stellar review of The Core.
Peter V Brett has managed to write an excellent final book that enthralls throughout and delivers, for the most part, a satisfying denouement to his debut series. I am looking forward to see what he delivers next.
This is the final main book in the series (for now). Next up is Barren! Readers can get also their Demon Cycle fix with Peat’s novellas including The Great Bazaar and Brayan’s Gold which is two-stories-in-one published by Tachyon and Messenger’s Legacy which is published by Subterranean Press. Once again, thanks so much to Eon for reading and reviewing!

A little while ago, we found Hannah’s Demon Cycle tattoo and it’s amazing!
I love the shading on this and the mind ward is just gorgeous. Thanks so much for showing this off, Hannah!

After checking back, I was delighted to find that he’s since put up reviews for Desert Spear, Daylight War, and, just recently, of The Skull Throne. Check it out.
This is an awesome review, with some really great summation as well as deeper input. If you’re cool with spoilers, I’d definitely recommend taking a look.
Here are the rest of Andrew’s video reviews for The Demon Cycle in order:
To check more more of Andrew’s reviews, head over to his Youtube Channel or head over to his website! Next up is The Core, which, incidentally, you can order here!
