Hey everyone! Remember that time Peat shaved Myke Cole’s head?

Back in 2013, Myke Cole promised he’d shave his head as an act of whimsy if the fundraiser meets the $25,000 mark. SPOILER ALERT: They did, and Myke had Peat do the honors of shaving his friend’s head with a straight razor. Sweeny-Todd Style. 

This year, Myke has his chance for revenge! Peat has promised to let Myke shave his head. 

If that wasn’t cool enough, Peat and Myke are going to be live-streaming the whole time on Peter V. Brett’s Twitch Channel and FB Live. Join our FB event and tune in on December 6th to see if Peat survives.

Peter donated a copy of the Core that he signed personally, along with Brent Weeks, to this year’s Worldbuilders charity auction. For those of you not familiar with Worldbuilders, it is a charity founded by fantasy author Patrick Rothfuss that supports Heifer International. This auction is for a very special first edition, first printing of Peter V. Brett’s The Core, the final book in his amazing Demon Cycle series, signed by both Peat AND Brent Weeks. Which confused us.

When we asked, Peat said that people are always confusing them with each other (“It’s sort of become a running joke…”), so the last time they were together, they decided to make it extra-confusing, and they both signed this edition using a mixed-up combination of their names.

The auction ends TODAY, so make sure to get your bids in quick!

We’re so excited for this audiobook. Graphic Audio has gone above and beyond once again and with the amazing voice of Dylan Lynch guiding the story, it’s sure to be a smooth ride… for the listeners, that is. It’s not a spoiler to say the characters are going to have a rough time.
