Fanart: Demon Dong

Posted by Karen

Hey everyone! Yep, you read this post’s title right.

Today we’re showing off a picture, not of a demon’s weiner exactly, but of a weiner demon. Or possibly a demon weiner?

Either way, this pic was send in by Stephen and it might be one of my favorite ever:

DemonWeiner

Hello, I own a restaurant and my sous chef and I have been listening to your books on audible. Almost done with book four and we absolutely love them! You are an amazing author. We have had a great time listening and talking about your books. I wanted to share a picture with you, when we soak the black beans over night we always draw a funny picture of a penis doing something silly for the morning cook to discover. Kitchen humor can get a bit low brow at times. My sous chef drew this yesterday and it was so funny felt the urge to share it with you. Hope you enjoy…

What more can I say? There is nothing about this I don’t love. Now excuse me while I go eat something bean-related.

Myke Cole Hunted Drinking Game

Hi All,

Myke-Under-Hollywood-Sign_edited-2It’s been quite a weekend. Whether you were celebrating, mourning, marching or hiding under a rock, we could all use a break.

Thankfully, my BFF for over 25 years, Myke Cole, is one of the stars of Hunted, premiering on CBS TONIGHT at 10pm after the AFC championship. In honor of the event, I have put together a Myke Cole drinking game to play at the premiere party, and invite the rest of you to play along. The rules are pretty simply. Take a drink every time Myke does something… Mykelike.

Feel free to add rules in the comments section. Drink responsibly!

The Myke Cole Hunted Drinking Game

Note:

1 drink = one full sip of beer, wine, liquor

1 shot = a shot of liquor or draining your glass of a less alcoholic beverage

Rules:

Take a drink every time Myke…

is assigned a task

explains tech so luddites can understand it

shouts when people are right next to him

crosses his arms and looks grumpy

puts an end to frivolity

uses folksy military aphorisms, including but not limited to:

“Don’t borrow trouble”

“Self-licking ice cream cone”

“Boondoggle”

“This dog won’t hunt”

“The sea doesn’t care about you”

talks about trigger discipline

points at a computer screen

looks directly into the camera

gives a speech (instructive or inspirational)

does something gentlemanly

vows to catch the fugitives

makes a gaming reference

touches his beard

takes a deity or prophet’s name in vain

Take a shot every time…

Myke catches a fugitive

Someone asks Myke to calm down/lower the volume

Have fun, and let me know if you need me to write your boss a note on Monday morning.

-Peat

P.S.

There will be some big news coming this week. Stay tuned!

Hunted Premieres THIS SUNDAY!

Posted by Karen

Hey everyone! Could you escape if you were being hunted down by the best in law enforcement?

Watch Myke Cole hunt down ‘fugitives’ on the premiere of Hunted THIS SUNDAY. That’s Sunday, January 22 10pm-11pm Eastern Standard Time. Hunted will start immediately following the AFC Championship game.

Long-time followers of Peat and the blog will know Myke Cole. He’s the author of the Shadow Ops series, an all-around amazing guy, as well as Peat’s best friend. Remember that time Peat shaved his head for charity? Yep, he’s that guy.

hunted

Hunted is an AWESOME reality show featuring the Hunted and the Hunters (Myke is the latter). Myke and other highly skilled law enforcement experts will search the homes of their targets and scour their internet and phone histories, seeking out behavioral patterns that will lead to their ultimate goal: capture.

After its debut, Hunted will air Wednesdays at 8/7c, starting with a special two hour episode on Jan. 25, 2017.

Want something to read between episodes? You can check out Control Point, the first of Myke Cole’s Shadow Ops series here!

Demon Cycle Tweets #6

Posted by Karen

Hey everyone! Hope everyone is having a great 2017.

It’s still early in the year, but we got a bunch of Demon Cycle tweets over the past few weeks (and during the holidays!). Here are some of my favorites…

Still got the winter blues? This first tweet is from Dominika on Facebook who sent in a beer that is guaranteed to warm up any Demon Cycle fan:

brett

You can always say that you are so popular here we named our favourite drink after you

I feel like Peat is destined to love it.

PJ says “…got myself an early gift on PVB’s rec. Uli and I enjoying it currently.”

Peat’s book recommendations are awesome, especially when they feature Myke Cole’s work. This was seriously a great holiday gift.

Speaking of Myke, check out the above-and-beyond holiday card Peat got for him:
