Hey everyone! While Peat’s away at Supanova, I decided to do a recap about the last event he attended– New York Comic Con 2016! This year was crazy busy, so we’re gonna break down his trip in a couple of posts. Part one covers Thursday through Saturday, so get ready for it:

Renna took a star position at the Del Rey Booth where Peat had his signings on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. I stepped in as photographer on Saturday in order to get some snaps.

Saturday’s line was ENORMOUS. Not a surprise since we gave away tons of free books, all signed by the man himself (natch). Plus everyone there managed to catch some quality one-on-one chatting time. Bonus! 🙂

Peat even got some cool stuff in exchange! As I always say– Demon Cycle fans are the best fans.

Some people wanted Peat to sign more than their books. Super-fan Jeffrey got Peat to sign his personal collection of the whole Demon Cycle series plus his Kindle case:

Saturday’s Geek Geek Revolution panel was tons of fun! You can find the whole panel here:

Just a few highlights include–

-Myke Cole swearing in the Audience

-Peat nailing Star Wars trivia

-The Audience breaking their oath

-Panel-stumping Harry Potter questions

-A unicorn penalty

Hey everyone! A little while ago, we got some big news in a small baby-sized package.

The Reed family sent us pics of the newest addition to their family. Arlen Edward Reed was born July 19 and is absolutely adorable. Just look at him and try not to say ‘d’awwww!’:

That hooded robe sure looks familiar. Who does it remind you of…

The name ‘Arlen’ has Irish origins– coming from a Gaelic word meaning Pledge or Promise. Is it possible we have an irl Deliverer?

Only time will tell.

Hey everyone! So… Peat is currently in Brisbane.

Touching down, our favorite author’s first stops were, naturally, bookstores! Peat popped by Pulp Fiction to sign some of their Demon Cycle stock.

He also paid a visit to Dymocks. Ask for Jacob and he’ll help you find where Peat signed stock is located at his store.

If you’re looking for a signed copy and can’t make it to Supanova, these are the places to go. Try to grab one before they’re gone!

Remember Peat is going to be around in Australia November 11th (that’s today!) through the 13th and November 18th through the 20th for Supanova. You can find more info in yesterday’s post.

The first days of Supanova is TOMORROW. There are still a few Supanova tickets for sale, so if you haven’t gotten yours yet, book them now!

Here is Peat’s OFFICIAL SCHEDULE for Supanova…

Supanova

Peter will be signing on Friday in Brisbane (2:00pm – 5:30pm), and throughout each Saturday (10:30am – 5:30pm) and Sunday (11:00am – 5:00pm) in both cities.

There will be a dedicated author signing area at the con, which is where Peat will be all day when he is not at a panel or taking a break.

Nov. 11-13 Brisbane, Australia

PANELS

-Mr. or Mrs. Smith? 10:30-11:30am. SATURDAY.

-Monsters and Magic. 1:00pm-2:00pm. SUNDAY.

Nov. 18-20 Adelaide, Australia

-Stop Using That Trope! 11:00am-12:00pm. SUNDAY.

In Brisbane, Peat will be seated in the Supa-Star Authors area (Located on the far left of the map).

In Adelaide, it’s in the middle of the main hall to the right.

In addition, Harper Voyager AU will be selling an exclusive special Australian Tour Edition of The Painted Man with the same gorgeous textured hardcover design they’ve used for the Demon Cycle novellas. This is a This edition will be a limited run exclusive to this specific Australia tour, available at the HarperCollins AU Supanova booth:

This new cover is not only the first Australian hardback version of The Painted Man, but it’s also just plain badass! This is the first book to have Lauren Cannon’s newest ward circle design and the typography superb.

Seriously people, if you haven’t bought your tickets, do it. This is going to be your only chance to get the Australian Tour version of The Painted Man. Don’t miss out!
