Hey everyone! We promised a reminder of Peat’s schedule for World Fantasy Convention, so here it is!

Peat will be attending the mass signing TODAY at 8:00 (City Center 2A and City Center 2B). If you want to get a book signed or just get in some time to chat, feel free to stop by!

TOMORROW (that’s Saturday, November 7), Peat will be in City Center 2A at 10:00am. He’ll be acting as a moderator for the panel Epic Fantasies: Trilogies, Series… Stand-alones?

If you’ve ever been to one of Peat’s panels, you know it’s going to be fantastic. If you haven’t, be sure to check it out!

Today is the LAST day to enter the Demon Cycle Pumpkin Contest. If you haven’t submitted anything, you have until tonight!

Hey everyone! This year’s World Fantasy Convention goes from Thursday, November 5th – Sunday, November 8th, 2015 at the Saratoga Springs City Center.

Peat will be attending the mass signing on Friday, November 6 at 8:00 (City Center 2A and City Center 2B).

On Saturday, November 7 at 10:00am, Peat will be in City Center 2A. He will act as a moderator for the panel Epic Fantasies: Trilogies, Series… Stand-alones? 

Epic Fantasy has become almost synonymous with Door Stop novels, trilogies and series. Can Epic Fantasy be done as a short story, a novella, or even a slim stand alone? Our intrepid panel will discuss the often overlooked stories and texts that are Epic in every way but size.

As moderator, Peat has the right to change the topic. He could make it about coffee. Would Frodo have gotten the ring to mount doom earlier if he’d had a cup of Joe in the morning?

Yeah, Peat’s panel is going to rock. If you’re at the con, I’d definitely recommend checking it out! We’ll be putting up a reminder on Friday.

Hey everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful (and safe!) Halloween. While dozing off my own candy-coma, I started to think about our Demon Cycle Pumpkin Contest. Officially, the contest was supposed to end on October 31st… but why not give it just a few more days?

After all, if people want to grab some pumpkins for this contest, it’s going to be hella cheap now. And, with the craziness of Halloween night, it’s possible that there are a few submissions that didn’t quite make it in.

So we’re extending the contest! Its official end date is now Friday, November 6th. If you want to enter, be sure to email contest@www.petervbrett.com with a picture of your altered pumpkin!

To get you all hyped up, here’s a pumpkin I made with a clay ward:

Mad skills, huh? Don’t worry. Since, I’m one of the judges, I can’t win any of the prizes.

We’ll be announcing the winner of the Myke Cole Contest tomorrow!
