Reviews, Interviews & Updates You Might Have Missed

Posted by Meg

Here’s a little round-up of some recent Daylight War reviews etc happening on the interwebs.

Borough of Books, a book blog you should definitely check out, recently posted its review of The Daylight War. The reviewer, Iben, decided to re-read the first two books and give them mini-reviews as well.

The characters, their storylines, the way it all flawlessly intertwines is just breathtaking. I don’t think I’ve ever read a series that’s been this consistently good, no, great, throughout.

Read the rest of the review here.

Also, if you haven’t seen it already, you should check out this awesome video SFBC put together of Peat at ComicCon:

Peat has also slyly added some updates to the website and blog during the past month. Anxious to know what happens at the beginning of Skull Throne? Want to know when it will be published? Check out Peat’s recent blog post on all things writing and Skull Throne related. There is also a deleted scene from Daylight War up on Excisions.

Happy reading!

Youngest Larry Rostant Fan

Mirek sent Peat this adorable of his son posing with the complete set of U.K. Voyager editions of The Painted Man, The Desert Spear and The Daylight War.

Mirek’s son apparently is a huge fan of the colorful colors by Larry Rostant. Just wait until he’s old enough to read them!

From Poland? Fan of the Demon Cycle? Then, this video might be extremely interesting! However, Peat and I can’t really tell … someone want to let us know?

The Polish editions of the Demon Cycle are some of the most beautiful books, inside and out.

Peat has been busy posting some of the gorgeous art that accompanies the Polish translations. You can check out the albums, divided by book, on Facebook.

Fan Art: Wood Demon Come to Life

Posted by Meg

Check out this incredible vision Jake has for a wood demon.

Wood Demon

This is seriously amazing … and terrifying. A wood demon come to life. I love the mossy, gnarled branches and the disturbingly green eyes.
