Finishing Series – A To Read List

Posted by Meg

Jay posted a list the other day on Bibliophilopolis of sequels that have been released, but he hasn’t read.

Guess which series graces his list.

The-Daylight-War-UK

That’s right! Jay has read The Painted Man and The Desert Spear, but hasn’t cracked open The Daylight War yet. Here’s what he has to say:

The first two book were awesome. I don’t often read this genre, but I found the characters in this series to be very well done. And the world plagued by demons was awesome. I couldn’t wait for this one to come out when I finished #2, but when it finally did, I didn’t get to it right away and still haven’t. I have no idea why.

Check out his Top Ten. You can also read his review of the Demon Cycle books here. Have you read any of these series? Do you tend to tear through series all at once or take a break in between books?

The Desert Spear – The Turkish Edition!

Posted by Meg

Now available in Turkey, Epsilon has now released the Turkish version of The Desert Spear. Check it out!

Turkish Desert Spear

After posting the news yesterday on Facebook, one fan had a question concerning the international release of the Demon Cycle:

How have Muslim countries been responding to you books? I’ve been curious about it since reading.

Peat responded:

Turkey is the only one that translates, though the english books are available in many other countries. For the most part, response has been quite positive. I show a mix of people in every culture in my stories. Some good, some bad, some pious, some hypocritical. I expected some people to read things into the text that I didn’t intend, but my readers seem to be smart, open minded thinkers who can separate complex thoughts.

Great Bazaar & Brayan’s Gold Youtube Review

Posted by Meg

One of the many cool things about Youtube is the advent of recorded book reviews. I love this because we get to see the face and hear the voice of the reader, plus the book can be easily shown-off.

Check out Kitty G’s video review of the ebook version of The Great Bazaar & Brayan’s Gold.

So cool to see the relatively new ebook in action. Awesome review, Kitty G. You can check out her Youtube channel here. She loves fantasy and reviews lots of beautiful books.
