Fanart: Map of the Anoch Sun

Posted by Karen

Hey everyone!

What I’m going to show you today is a kind of fanart I’ve never seen before, which is about as exciting as it gets!

BethanyClarkDesign on Instagram has created a model of the Map to Anoch Sun as a thesis project. So not only did she design a blueprint for what the map would look like, but she actually built it! Take a look:

This is absolutely stunning. The originality, the look of it, this is the exact kind of thing I’d expect to see in real life!

Believe it or not, that’s not all. Bethany has made some other amazing Demon Cycle projects that I’ll be showing you over the next couple days. Stay tuned for more tomorrow!

Fanart: Gunnar Wilke’s Wind Demons

Posted by Karen

Hey everyone!

Today is our last day of checking out the amazing work of the Students of the Gunnar Wilke School. They were kind enough to share their interpretations of the Demon Cycle Demons with us, and we’re going to share it with you too!

Today we’re going to be watching the skies, because today we’re looking at all the terrifying Wind Demons the Gunnar Wilke students have sent in. Let’s take a look!

Jana has created a fierce Wind Demon in watercolor. I love the colors and blending, and that streaked Ward is amazing!

Next up, Lea-Sophie’s Wind Demon has horns and teeth to be wary of. I’d hate to see that snapping at me during an aerial swoop!

Next, Milena has made a skeletal Wind Demon that’s a force to be recconded with! The ribcage is so amazingly detailed, amazing work, Milena!

Finally, Paulina’s Wind Demon has a monstrous look to it that’s befitting of a killer. I love its teeth, jagged winds, and its piercing eyes! Wonderful job!

That wraps up our four days of art from the Gunnar Wilke School! Thanks so much to the students for letting us show their work. You are all exceptional thinkers and artists, and it was a pleasure to see all your Demon interpretations. Keeps your Wards up and best of luck in the night!

Fanart: Gunnar Wilke’s Rock Demons

Posted by Karen

Hey everyone!

It’s day three of checking out the amazing work of the Students of the Gunnar Wilke School. They were kind enough to share their interpretations of the Demon Cycle Demons with us, and we’re going to share it with you!

Today we’re showing you Rock Demons of all shapes and sizes, and all extremely deadly!

To start the day, look at Diana’s terrifying Rock Demon. With those long claws and terrifying teeth, no wonder people hide behind Wards! Great job!

Hannah Did some clever work with white, and made a fierce Rock Demon ready to chomp down on the nearest human! I love the expression and use of white lines!

Janine’s Rock Demon is full of deadly spines. That’s one Demon you wouldn’t want to mess with!

Finally, Robin’s demon comes with a club-tail that could smash your home to bits. Make sure your Wards are nice and clear if you think it’s nearby!

Thanks so much to the Students of Gunnar Wilke for sharing with us. All your works are so amazing, and it’s such a pleasure to get to show them off! Tomorrow we’ll be continuing with enough Wind Demons to ruffle anyones feathers. Until then, keep your Wards up!

Fanart: Gunnar Wilke Fire Demons and One Arms

Posted by Karen

Hey everyone!

Today is day two of checking out the amazing work of the Students of the Gunnar Wilke School. They were kind enough to share their interpretations of the Demon Cycle Demons with us, and we’re going to share it with you!

Today we’re finishing up the Fire Demons and looking at some designs for One Arm. Let’s take a look:

This first piece was sent in by a mystery student, and shows off Fire Demons as small, sharp toothed fiends! I love the way the artist put glow in its eyes and decided the teeth would be black. Awesome!

Another mystery creator has a very interesting take on what Fire Demon could look like. To some of you, it might look familiar. While I wouldn’t recommend trying to catch a Fire Demon, using a Cyndiquil to represent what you think a Fire Demon looks like is pretty funny!

Next up, we have a rocking interpretation of the Rock Demon One Arm by Leonie! I love those eyes!

To end out the day, we have this One Arm by Lea! I love the teeth and the hunch of that back. Great work!

Thanks to all the students we’ve featured today. I love seeing all these different ways you imagine Demons! Tomorrow we get to take a look at even more awesome Demon drawings by the Gunnar Wilke students. Stay tuned!
