Fan Art: Warded Bling

Posted by Meg

There has been a vast amount of incredibly awesome (and wearable) fan art that has been popping up on Twitter and Facebook since the release of The Daylight War. Super fan Margherita throws her hat into the ring with these blindingly beautiful warded earrings. Check ’em out.

Margherita threatened via Twitter that this is the beginning of a whole line. Can’t wait to see more warded bling! Especially with the glitter. Loving the glitter.

If you haven’t picked up your copy of The Daylight War yet, what are you waiting for? The U.K. versions is available at Waterstones and Amazon. Americans, check out the Random House page for all the appropriate buy links. Or go out and support your local bookstore.

The German version of The Daylight War is now on sale! Check out the link to buy it here.

Weren’t able to make it to a U.S. event? Peat signed a stockpile of his books at each bookstore he visited. Even if you are not local, most of these will deliver. In the U.K.? Peat did the same for all the bookstores he visited as well. You can check out the list below:

Luke Fielding: Ultimate Demon Artist

Posted by Meg

Artist Luke Fielding has done some amazing Demon Cycle artwork in the past, and recently he has been adding new pieces to his growing collection. Check out this amazing warded artwork.

I love how the wards are bent and connected to each other. It reminds me of what the wards might look like when Arlen and the other warders net them together. Fantastic job!

But the real cherry are these phenomenal demon portraits he has been producing since the release of The Daylight War. Terrifying.

Fire Demon

Finished in about thirteen hours, Luke used watercolors, graphite, chalk and ink to create this terrifying masterpiece. Awesomely done.

But he didn’t stop there!

Clay Demon

Done in nine hours, Luke used watercolor, graphite and ink to create this clay demon. Yikes! Those teeth are insane.

Mind Demon

Eleven and a half hours for this one, done with watercolor, graphite, ink and chalk. I love the horns that seem to morph into tentacles.

And finally, the rock demon …

Rock Demon

Thirteen hours, done with watercolor and graphite. Incredible! Each demon has a different color palate and unique vision of terror. Amazing job, Luke!

Luke posted this on Twitter before he made the clay demon, explaining that he was bored. If I made such amazing art when I was bored, I would be a lot more productive!

And then, as if making awesome demon art wasn’t enough, Luke started making T-shirts!

Be sure to check out Luke Fielding’s official website or Deviant Art page for more art!
