@PVBrett – <3 the flower ward. MT @rachelr1977 These are some of my favorites. #DemonCycle #cosplay #gencon: http://t.co/dvcma87K
I have to agree with Peat, the flower ward is absolutely adorable. Amazing job Rachel! It was funny to see in the twitter conversation with Rachel that Peat’s mom saw the necklace on facebook and said she wanted one!
Peat won’t be at Gen Con this year, but he will be many other places! He will be traveling this month with an August 17 stop at Blackwell’s in London with Myke Cole and Joe Abercrombie. On August 20th, he will be doing a reading at the Otherland Bookshop in Berlin. To round things off, he will be the author guest of honor at this year’s Pol Con from August 23-26 in Wroclaw, Poland.

@PVBrett – Do I REALLY need this comma? Argh. Let’s say the sentence 10 times in my head with different pauses and emphasis. #daylightwar #editing
@PVBrett – Not easy to work your hippo with a puppet stick hand … http://t.co/LUmhBgKV
@PVBrett – I prefer Ni-hao Kai Lan to Dora the Explorer… but it sucks that I know enough to have an opinion.
@PVBrett – Ha! MT @Darrell_Hayward @PVBrett I only started reading your books because I went to college with someone called Peter Brett! Now I’m hooked.

We found this beautiful landscape of Alren and Twilight Dancer by James on the Forum. You can check out the original thread here.
I love the mood and composition of this picture. There are a couple of really excellent details in this picture that I didn’t notice at first. Check out what the artist has to say about it:
The idea in my head was Arlen traveling to Lakton, in the top right corner there is a ward set out with stars (a ward constellation if you like) and I used a rock demon that I found (drawn by Nightmaresdream on this forum) that I tried to make look as if it were first forming in the night.
Thank you to James for posting. I love the detail of the demon rising from the Core. You can check out the original demon art by Nightmaresdream here.

Here is some new fan art from Deviant Art user Rusty87d. A moment in an epic fight scene between the warded man and a wood demon.
I love the composition of the picture, The placement wood demon’s hand (or scary, talon thing) amps up the tension of the scene, reminding me of a movie shot. Awesome job!
