Cassie’s New Quilt

A while ago, fan and quilt designer Sondra sent this message to Peat:
I’m a quilt designer and I have a special quilt that needs a little girl. For all of the wonderful hours I’ve spent reading your books, I’d like to give a little back so to speak. I believe there’s a little angel close to you that will be 3 soon and I think she’d be the perfect little girl for this special quilt. I’ll attach a picture for you. If this ok with you I can send it wherever you’d like me to. Thank you again for sharing all the awsome kookery that runs through your mind 🙂
Sondra sent Cassie a beautiful handmade quilt. This is what Peat had to say about Cassie’s reaction:
Cassie loves the quilt. She is always naming the bugs in the pattern. “Bee!” “Butterfly!” She calls it her “bug quilt” and has slept with it ever since it arrived.
