Luke Fielding: Fan Art

With the Fan Art Contest coming to a close, we wanted to share some older fan art from artist Luke Fielding. Some of my favorite fan art tends to be of the demons because while they are well-described in the books in many ways, there is still so much room for imagination. I love discovering how each artist visualizes these epic creatures. And Luke’s haunting rendition of a rock demon is one of my favorites. He also does incredible work with the wards, binding them into fluid patterns. It reminds me of how Arlen and the others must actually ward in the books. It seems both a science and an art; a web of symbols perfectly formed to create a net. Luke experiments with the wards to create a beautiful work of art.
