RPG Forum Board

Hey everyone! Real talk for a moment— fans of The Demon Cycle are the best fans. Over the years, you all have sent in fanart and stories, made original characters, cosplayed, and seriously impressed the heck out of us!

Today, we came across another creative venture. A long-time fan created an RPG forum board post based on The Demon Cycle. Check out a snippet of their guidelines:

This looks like a lot of fun! We love when people explore what they can do with The Demon Cycle world. You can explore the rest of the site here!

It’s no secret that Peat himself enjoys roleplaying once in awhile. You can check out his Youtube channel where he and other authors have a blast with special charity-driven games of Dungeons and Dragons:

If anyone else has created a roleplay (forum-based or otherwise) set in The Demon Cycle, we’d love to hear about it in the comments!

Note: As always, when you’re roleplaying on a forum, be sure to get the artist/individual’s permission before using any pictures for your Play-bys and Face Claims.

The U.S. edition of The Skull Throne is on sale here!

One response to “RPG Forum Board”

  1. I haven’t created a whole roleplay (so far), but occasionally I play RPG games with characters inspired by people of the Demon Cycle (obviously, they are all quite effective fighters).

In Wizardry 8, I recreated six of the main characters from the books, and went on to explore an alien world with them. There were no demons, but plenty of other hostile creatures to contend with. It was pretty great – the game allows the player to customize their characters quite well, including their personality and voice.
I have made a short video of a couple of the team’s battles: https://youtu.be/YJ8EWu1HNJY?t=49

In TEH: Skyrim, I also tried to create a version of Gared Cutter (a dual wielder warrior, obviously): http://i1057.photobucket.com/albums/t390/Old_Nile/garedskyrim_zpsrvslizpq.jpg
