Arlen: Arcanine
Loyal, covered with markings, plus a secret (sort of) legendary.
Leesha: Gardevoir
A beautiful Pokemon that will kick your ass with Magical Leaf.
Rojer: Mr. Mime
You know Mr. Mime would be a jongleur. He just would.
Renna: Tyrogue
Pure fighting type, whose abilities includes ‘guts’.
Inevera: Marowak (Alolan Form)
“It’s said that their great care for their partners allowed them to gain something like a sixth sense and resulted in their changed form.” I think it fits perfectly. Plus, y’know. Fire and bones.
Jardir: Mewtwo
A master of his destiny.
Abban: Meowth
The purr-fect salesman.
Bruna: Granbull
Don’t mess with Bruna.
Mind Demon: Abra
The psychic brains behind the brawn.
Mimic Demon: Ditto
Obviously.

We’ve gotten a lot of messages about the dynamic between Leesha and Jardir. Some are approving, some scathing. Either way, I think it’s one of the most interesting relationships in The Demon Cycle to see art of.
Gorana Tasic recently sent in this incredible art of Leesh and Jardir and it is gorgeous:
…I absolutely adored Jardir and Leesha. She was unapologetically perfect all the way through and Jardir is, well, Jardir.
Couldn’t have said it better myself, Gorana! Awesome job. The texturing on both Leesha and Jardir’s hair is amazing!
Specifically, Stijn & Annelies welcomed their wonderful son Arlen into the world on September 3rd, 2016. In addition to the name, the little kiddos was also given a mini Demon Cycle celebration.
In some places, there’s a tradition where people give presents to all the people (family, friends, colleagues, etc.) who come to visit the child. Stijn & Annelies called it ‘Birth Sugar’, which is just about the sweetest name for it I can think of.
They made boxes and small paper bags filled with sweets. They were all decorated with a small wooden disk and all these small disks were engraved with Arlen’s name and a ward. Altogether, they used 26 different wards. Talk about a day’s work!!
The big wooden plate in the back was also engraved with Arlen’s name along with the ward assigned to him (the Prophecy ward), and the three wards they chose for his three godfathers (direction, defense and healing).
This is an awesome tradition and they pulled it off brilliantly. We’re sending all our congratulations to Stijn & Annelies. With a name like Arlen, he’s sure to make his parents proud.
