Thanks so much to all of Peat’s French fans for reading and supporting The Demon Cycle. This translation has one of my personal favorite covers with artwork by the incredible Miguel Coimbra and is published by our friends at Bragelonne Publishing.

You can buy a download of Le Trône de Crâne here. Or, if you’d prefer a physical copy, you can find it here!

Tattoo by Dominik Broniek!

Posted by Karen

Hey everyone! Michal recently posted his wicked mind demon tattoo on Instagram. This is one of the largest, most intricate, and overall coolest Demon Cycle tattoos I’ve seen yet!

For Polish fans, the art style might look familiar…

Dominik Broniek is the genius, not only behind this tattoo design, but also for the official art in the Polish translations of The Demon Cycle.

As always, his work is absolutely stunning. You can check out Dominik on Deviantart and Facebook. Along with illustrations for Peat, he’s also done a whole bunch of book covers and independent projects. Definitely worth taking a look!

The Polish edition of The Warded man is split into two parts. You can get them from Fabryka Slow here and here.

Solstice Gift: The Core Chapter 1

Happy Solstice!

As my readers know, solstices—summer and winter—are major holidays the Demon Cycle books. Sunlight holds the demon corelings at bay. Long, bright days are celebrated, and short dark ones feared.

Winter Solstice is a day when Thesans and Krasians alike renew bonds of friendship. There is dancing and feasting. Gifts are exchanged and debts forgiven.

As my solstice gift to readers the last couple of years, I posted a free story, Holiday in Tibbet’s Brook, starring young Arlen, Renna, and the rest of the Tibbet’s cast. If you haven’t had the chance, I highly recommend reading it. It’s like visiting old friends.

But this year, I have something even more special: Chapter 1 of The Core, book 5 in the Demon Cycle.

WARNING!!

I still have a LOT of writing to do on The Core. It is nowhere near finished. More like 1/3. This chapter should NOT be taken as sign of imminent release. The Core will NOT be publishing in 2016.

That said, I know quite firmly where things are going. Enough to share with you a very exciting taste of what’s to come, if you dare to click Leesha’s mortar & pestle below.

Stay safe, my true friends. Triple-check your wards tonight.

You’ve been warned.

Worldbuilders Thank You/TEASER

Posted by Karen

Hey everyone! There are a few things to go over, so I’ll try to cover them as neatly as possible. First off, Worldbuilders. $1,250,000 with another $500,000 of money matched.

Worldbuilders

The deadline for the Worldbuilders 2015 Funraiser has officially closed, this time for real. Tis the season of giving and wow did you guys deliver. In all, Worldbuilders raised more than $1,250,000 with another $500,000 of money matched.

Of course just because the big annual fundraiser is over doesn’t mean Worldbuilders and Heifer Internation are taking a break. If you’d like to help out, you can always buy a goat or some ducks or just donate here.

Gifts

These make great gifts for the what-do-you-get-them?! types. I’m partial to the goats myself.

Okay, switching gears now.

Peat’s been working on a SECRET POST for a long time now, set to come out on the solstice. For all you astrology buffs, that’s December 22. Tomorrow.

I can’t give too much away, but let me just say that you definitely don’t want to miss it. Check the blog tomorrow. The post goes up at MIDNIGHT (EST), to herald in the shortest day of the year…

You can get caught up on The Demon Cycle by ordering The Skull Throne here!
