Warded Fingerless Gloves

Posted by Meg

The latest style in warded apparel comes from Kristina who knit these badass fingerless gloves during the polar vortex.

Kristina Fingerless Gloves

They offer protection from both the cold and the Core! Awesome job, Kristina!

Here’s what Kristina had to say about her warded creations:

I have warded them with Confusion and Unsight so that I can sneak past any demons in the yard when I take the dog out at night. Getting to tell my husband “I’m warding my gloves” in response to himĀ asking me what I was doing this evening made my week.

Knitting something warm and warded of your own? Don’t forget to enter it in the Warding Contest before the end of February!

Malin adds to the awesomeness of the Warding Contest with a warded Lego action scene!

Beautiful work! Those wards are minuscule. Looks like the Warded Man is headed into battle well-protected.

Here’s Malin’s pitch:

Coming this spring to a store near you: The Demon cycle Lego! Here you can see Arlen with a warded spear, fighting a rock demon.

Have an object in need of warding? Be sure to enter it to win fabulous prizes! Contest runs through February.

Those adorable corelings are trying to break through, but Angela’s baby is well defended with numerous silver wards! Amazing job!

Here’s what Angela says:

His weapon he’s throwing at them is warded too. We’re practicing.

Have you warded something or do you want to? Show us your creative side for a chance to win some excellent Peter V. Brett prizes.

Posted by Meg

There are only a couple days left in these two one-of-a-kind auctions being run by Worldbuilders. The first auction boosts two hand-warded arrowheads created by Tait Stevens of Esoteric Garage. These are nifty little weapons that will help you defend you and yours as night falls are the demons rise from the Core.
