What would you do for an advanced copy of The Daylight War? Joe is willing to fight off ninjas for the book. Check it out.
Awesome job with this action-packed video. A great showcase of Joe’s talents as a martial artist and beautifully filmed! Nice use of the new US cover art as well.
Check out what Joe had to say about his entry:
I have enjoyed your books immensely and really wanted to show that in the video I have submitted.I haven’t got a knack for writing or music and I’m actually kinda a slow reader. But I’ve got a knack for Parkour and martial arts and decided that would be the best way to produce an awesome video! I had a lot of fun shooting the video (and being shot at) and am pretty pleased with the end result. As to why I deserve to read The Daylight War, suffice it to say that I’m ready to fight armed ninjas and take an arrow in the back! In the video I actually leave The Desert Spear behind which is probably a lot worse than dying from an arrow shot in cold blood…
Enter your own video by tomorrow at midnight. Doesn’t have to be fancy. Just give Peat a reason why you should receive an ARC of The Daylight War.
Listen to Peat tell you all about his short story Mudboy in the upcoming Unfettered Anthology and why the anthology is so important to him and the dozens of other fantasy authors who have contributed.
It’s here! The Daylight War cover for the UK edition designed by Larry Rostant. Check it out:
I can’t tell you how thrilled I am to have not one but TWO amazing Rostant paintings of Inevera for The Daylight War, each exploring a different side of a complex character. As you may have already seen, Fantasy Faction is hosting a cover off between the two incredible designs. Head over there to read more about the cover and choose your favorite!
And check out the full cover art for the U.S. Daylight War cover. Breathtaking.
Don’t forget to enter the Daylight War ARC Contest for a chance to win an advance read copy in time for the holidays! Just take a video of yourself telling me why you want/need/deserve/will love one and upload to YouTube by Dec. 12.
