I am really blown away by this nifty little sculpture created by @Darrell_Hayward. According to Darrell, the sculpture of the coreling fighter is 5 cm in length and made from polymer clay. The detail is superb; I especially like the wards on Arlen’s face and the demon scratches across his right eye. Fantastic job!
You can check out more about this sculpture and the artist here.

Another strong contest entry from Birte, who has done a whole lot of awesome contest entries and fan art in the past. Check out her trailer for The Warded Man:
Check out what Birte had to say about her entry:
It is a sort of trailer for the Warded Man. I’ve been working on this for the better part of a year. It’s not even finished yet, but you set a deadline and university a time limit. So here is the first version of this trailer, containing only a few of the takes I have and still wish to make.
I had friends helping me with the close-ups. The fight scenes as well as the Krasians are filmed from a rehearsal of “the Staufersaga” which was performed in Schwäbisch-Gmünd this summer. I was part of it, too. It was a huge saga of this ancient medieval house, the Staufer. We were like 1000 actors and extras, plus all the people operating behind the scenes. All together we burst the arena you can see in the film.
In case you’re wondering: I filmed that thunderstorm at the beginning out of the window of my room this summer. All of it.
The dog you can see is my very own Frodo during one of our late walks in summer.
The music is of course my own. This time I had no time to compose something especially for this film, but for the full version I will. I just took one of my older compositions that fitted.
Awesome job, Birte! Everything from the acting, costumes, tumbling and music is beautifully done.
Want to make your own video? The contest is still open! Check out our contest guidelines and upload your video to Youtube by December 12!
Awesome! Whenever I need to remember how many fantastic contest entries Mia has created, I just need to watch this video. Mia demonstrates her super fan status through lyrics that are witty and hilarious. Because of this, we are awarding Mia an early prize and shipping out one of the Daylight War ARCs for her to enjoy.
But never fear! We have plenty of Daylight War left for those of you who have yet to enter. As of right now, we have more prizes than entries.
Make sure to upload it and send us the link before December 15th. Check out the guidelines and prizes before entering.
