Gamehole Con Recap

 Posted by Karen

Hey everyone! We’re in the last couple weeks of December, so now is the perfect time to finish up our 2018 convention recaps with Gamehole Con!

Peat arrived in Madison, Wi and got signed in with his partner in crime, then they hit the con scene!

Peat met some fans along the way, like Russel, who we did a post on for his cool tattoo.

Peat had a great time walking around and playing games for fun, but on Saturday night there was an important job to do: Play Dungeons & Dragons!
Specifically, play D&D for charity.

During Gamehole Con, Peat took part in a live stream D&D game, run by the incredibly talented Chris Perkins.
His his party had other talented and impressive players: Patrick Rothfuss, Elisa Teague, Gaurav Gulati, Amy Vorpahl, and Matthew Mercer! Together, all of them played a game that allowed viewers and fans to donate money to the charity Extra Life, which supports hospitalized children. By donating, fans could also help out their select players by giving them boons, or else get cool stuff for themselves– such as buying a players character sheet for after the game was over! If you wanna find out more about Extra life, you can check it out here.

But moving on, Peat started by rolling out his stats before the game and…. ran into quite a bit of luck starting out!

When all was said and done, Peat had a pretty decent character to go with.

Then came the big event, sitting down with his party and getting ready for an adventure!

Since Gamehole Con was kind enough to stream the event, you can actually watch the recording of it! Check out the full game here.

As a final delight for the game, Peat got some fanart of his D&D character, Raaah Maas Croq the Grung Arcane Trickster!
So many thanks to the artist, jl_rad on Instagram!

To everyone who attended, donated, and supported the Extra Life event, thank you all so much! Thanks to Gamehole Con for being a wonderful experience, and to the DM and fellow players at the event. We had an amazing time with all of you!

Fanart: Clay Demon Ward Tattoo

Posted by Karen

Hey everyone!

Today I have another tattoo to show you, this one sent in by Griebwwa on Instagram!

I love the texture to the inkwork that makes it feel demonic in of itself, with the lines flowing and dripping between the pieces of the ward, and the dots seeming like pieces radiating right off of it. It’s a really stunning piece!
Thanks so much, Griebwwa, for sharing this with us. Best of luck with your demon hunting!

A Last Minute Shopping Guide for Demon Cycle Fans

Hey everyone!

I hope all of you are staying warm as the season turns chilly. Really, there’s no better way to stay warm than to trap a fire demon in the hearth, but most of us aren’t that daring. Though with how the holidays are, sometimes just running around doing chores and frantic shopping are enough to keep us warm! But if you want to stay nice and toasty inside while snapping up some cool Demon Cycle merch, I’ve got you covered.

When the snow starts falling, most of us scramble for cover to make sure the snow demons don’t catch us unawares, but luckily Badali jewelry has your back with their Snow Ward pendant. Badali makes Warded pendants and rings that will guard you from demons better than any shield, and have the great side effect of looking badass while they do it.
You can check out all of Badali’s Demon Cycle products here.

If you’re more the type to collect coin than weapon, then I recommend Shire Post Mints Warded Klats, featuring Leesha paper on either wood or brass. They’re lovely coins that will serve you well if you ever find yourself in Thesa.  Check them out here.

If you’re a collector of books and tomes, you can always check out Worldbuilders Shop. Not only does Worldbuilders hold a lot of signed Demon Cycle copies in various languages, but the proceeds from the sales go to charity. It’s a gift you can buy that literally gives back.  You can check out all the shops Demon Cycle materials here.

Finally, if you haven’t picked it up yet, now is the perfect time to get the newest novella in the Demon Cycle universe: Barren. You can pick that up right here.

That concludes our guide on how all of you can find some new Demon Cycle merch for this holiday season. Makes sure to keep the fires going to chase out the cold, and to draw your wards before the sun sets!

Fanart: Warded Man Wall Art

Hey everyone!

We’ve really been having some killer fan art coming in lately! Todays art comes to us from maarta.wozniak on Instagram, and it’s super impressive!

I love the ethereal flow to Arlens robe, the soft inky wash effect looks stunning against the wall. The demons all look super fierce and detailed! I especially love the wind demon on the upper left, it’s scales and screaming maw are as gorgeous as they are scary!

Thanks so much for sharing this, Maarta! Since it’s a work in progress now, I just know it’s going to be even more mind-blowing when it’s done!

This is really stunning drawing, guys. The anatomy and shading are amazing, and Arlens intense expression speaks volumes about his experiences in
