Renna Would Kick Barbie’s ass!

Who says girls’ dolls can’t be hard-core?

Lisa, from Perth, Australia, submitted this Homemade Hero of the tough little Tanner girl:

I chose Renna; demon-killing, flesh-warded, and very awesome. 🙂
I painted her skin with acrylic paint, referencing Lauren Cannon’s official series artwork for the wards. The knife is made with cardboard, jute twine, and more paint. The necklace is made from glass beads, and the clothes are black felt, black ribbon, and jute twine. I also gave her sleep eyes, and new pull strings.

And here is Renna in all of her bad-ass glory:

A great job like this really sets the bar for all you other creative types out there! Don’t forget, the contest ends on Thanksgiving, so get those paintbrushes going!
